EMA Management Services, our property management division, is ready to help homeowners maintain their home while they are here and away.
We offer service arrangements at EMA Management which are unique and tailored to your individual needs. Please check with us.
Services include:
- Pick up your mail, newspapers and fliers so your home appears lived in. Important mail such as bills can be forwarded to our office for payment.
- Ensure pool services are performed properly and monitor your pool system for water leaks.
- Check locks on doors and windows to assure security of your home.
- Verify lighting and security systems are in working order.
- Inspect for interior pests, insects and signs of mold.
- Ensure air conditioning is in operation and change filters as necessary.
- Verify carbon monoxide and smoke detectors are operating properly.
- Visit home prior to severe weather conditions and arrange to secure your home from potential damage including installing hurricane shutters and securing outdoor furniture.
- Inspect your home within 24 hours of tropical storm and hurricane conditions and notify you of damages.

Check your plumbing, including:
- Inspect for any leaks.
- Run water in all sinks to prevent evaporation in sink traps.
- Run disposal to prevent seizing.
- Flush all toilets to prevent seal dry rot and back flow of septic gasses.

Make certain all lawn care services are being completed, including:
- Trees and shrubs are healthy, fertilized and properly trimmed.
- Weeds and lawn pests are under control.
